Maquoketa Valley Going For Perfect Regular Season Record Friday Night

MVlogoThe class 1A 7th-ranked Maquoketa Valley football team remained undefeated after a home win over Tipton last Friday night in Delhi but as head coach Wes Wilson explains, it wasn’t easy:

With the W, the Wildcats secured the district 5 title. It becomes the 6th championship in Wildcat football program history since 1989 when district play was established and the second in a row. Coach Wilson says his team has one more goal to reach before playoff time comes next week:

MV travels to Stanwood to face North Cedar Friday night, the Knights are battling for the third spot in the district. The contest is our area online and playback game of the week and has been moved up to a 7pm kick-off with just one varsity game taking place.
