Two former West Delaware Volleyball players garnered postseason honors when the Midwest Collegiate Conference announced its all-conference teams for the 2013 season late last week.

Mount Mercy University Freshman middle blocker Leslie Hoffmann was a first-team all-MCC selection by a vote of league coaches. She led the Mustangs in kills (359) and was second on the team in service aces (28) and total blocks (53) and third in digs (251). Hoffmann and the Mustangs finished 5th in the conference with an overall mark of 9-25.

All-MCC Honorable Mention went to Junior middle hitter Allison Pasker who had 246 kills in 609 attempts and had 107 blocks, which was 2nd on the team  for Clarke University in Dubuque. The Crusaders had a 31-9 season record, finishing 3rd in conference play with a 4-2 mark. Pasker is one of three former area players on the Clarke roster; joining her this season were Freshmen Nicolle Kelchen of West Delaware and Kelcee Amling of Ed-Co.
