A Fayette County woman charged with possessing drugs has also been linked to a burglary in West Union. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says 31-year old Sharnel Voshell of Wadena was initially pulled over for erratic driving on Friday. Voshell had been driving while drugged and authorities discovered she was also wanted on an arrest warrant out of Winneshiek County for possession of dangerous drugs. The Sheriff’s Office says when she was taken into custody, they also discovered she was in possession of methamphetamine, as well as some stolen items that were taken during a vehicle burglary in West Union. The items were turned over to West Union Police, who charged her with Third Degree Burglary. Voshell remains in the Fayette County Jail on a 70-thousand dollar cash bond.
