HS Football; New Districts Released

IOWA HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL DISTRICTS for the 2014 & 2015  seasons:

(Assigned by the Iowa High School Athletic Association)

The biggest changes include Maquoketa Valley, a 1A quarterfinalist the past two years, has dropped to Class A and Anamosa drops to class 2A and out of tough district #4 grouping of 3A.

Full schedules for each school are expected to be released by late February or  early March.

CLASS 3A

District 3 — Charles City, Crestwood, Decorah, Independence,  Vinton-Shellsburg, Waverly-Shell Rock, West Delaware.

District 4 — Cedar Rapids Xavier, DeWitt Central, Dubuque  Wahlert, Maquoketa, Marion, Solon, Western Dubuque.

 

CLASS 2A.

District 3 — Center Point-Urbana, Dyersville Beckman, New  Hampton, North Fayette Valley, Oelwein, Waterloo Columbus, Waukon.

District 4 — Anamosa, Camanche, Cascade, Monticello, Mount  Vernon, Northeast, Tipton.

 

CLASS A

District 5 — East Buchanan, Easton Valley,  Edgewood-Colesburg, Lisbon, Maquoketa Valley, North Linn, Postville,  Starmont.

 

EIGHT MAN

District 4 — Cedar Valley Christian, Central City, Elkader  Central, Lansing Kee, Midland, Springville, Turkey Valley, West Central.
