Arrests Made In Arlington Burglary

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office made two arrests from a two week investigation stemming from three home burglaries reported on July 12th in Arlington. Three homes on South Street in Arlington were broke into in the early morning of the 12th and thousands of dollars in tool, equipment and personal items were taken. 25 year old Samuel Oberbreckling of Oelwein and 23 year old Patrick Farrell of Strawberry Point were arrested by deputies and charged with one count of 2nd Degree Burglary and two counts of 3rd Degree Burglary. Both were transported to the Fayette County Jail and being held on a $20,000.00 Bond. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is now working on recovering some of the stolen property. If convicted Oberbreckling and Farrell could face up to 20 years in prison.
