By Jon Swisher-Sports Director: The class 3A 4th-ranked West Delaware Baseball team improved to 32-5 with a tight well played 2-1 win over Independence last night in Manchester. The Hawks broke the scoreless tie game in the fifth inning with an RBI double by Seth Wedewer scoring Dallyn Putz who was hit by a pitch with two outs.
