Chapman To Bowl For Team USA At PABCON Championships

West Delaware stand out bowler AJ Chapman has been chosen to compete with Team USA at the PABCON adult championships September 12 through the 23rd. Chapman just finished his senior year at Wichita State where the Shockers finished third in nationals this year.  Chapman was chosen as first team All-American, and finished runner-up as “Bowler of the Year”.

July Averaged More Rain than Normal

State climatologist Harry Hillaker says most of the state got more rain than normal in July. “Statewide averaging a little bit over six inches — and typically you get about four-point-two inches or rainfall during the month,” Hillaker says. Sheriff’s Office Investigating Boat Theft

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a pontoon boat and motor.
