CP-U Wins Hawk Boys Track Invite

The West Delaware boys track and field invitational was held last night on the best weather night so far this spring sports season. The meet provided a last chance theme in qualifying for the Drake Relays for the athletes on-hand representing 14 schools. CP-U won the meet with 119 points, 2nd was Marion with 100.

Construction Workers Save Kids From Evansdale Fire

EVANSDALE, Iowa (AP) – Two construction workers are being hailed as heroes after saving two children from a burning duplex unit in Evansdale. The city’s fire chief, Ryan Phillips, says Travis Moen and Ryan Siems were laying concrete in the area when they noticed the blaze on Monday afternoon. They rushed inside the home and
