Bond Doubled For Fayette County Man In Attempted Murder Case

WEST UNION, Iowa (AP) – Bond has been doubled for a man accused of trying to hit police officers with a vehicle in northern Iowa. Fayette County Attorney Wayne Saur made the request in court Wednesday to raise Abel Quijas Junior’s bond to $500,000 cash only. Quijas’ defense attorney, Melissa Anderson-Seeber, did not challenge it.
