Marcella M. Weber Steger, 100, of Dyersville died Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at Shady Rest Care Center in Cascade. Visitation will be held from 3 – 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at the Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW in Dyersville.  Visitation continues Monday from 9 – 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

1A And 2A Boys Basketball Brackets Released

The Iowa High School Athletic Association has release the pairings for the Class 1A and 2A boys basketball districts.  In Class 1A, Starmont kicks things off on Monday February 15TH when they host Lansing Kee.  The winner of that game will play Jesup at Jesup on Thursday, February 18.  The other match up at Jesup

Anna Marie Bergan, 99, of Strawberry Point, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at her home in Strawberry Point.  She was born on September 8, 1916, in Arlington, the daughter of David and Marie (Betcher) Dempster.  Anna weighed 2 pounds 6 ounces at birth and spent the first days of her life in
