Donations for Schmitt and Damon Families

Community Congregational Church has set up the “Schmitt/Damon Fire Fund” at F&M Bank to help the Dick Schmitt and Derek Damon families. Both families lost their home and possessions in a Manchester house fire on February 10th. If you’d like to help with the fundraising efforts, contact the church at 927.4772.

Manchester Library Friends Membership Drive

The Friends of the Manchester Public Library is holding their membership drive. February is Library Lovers Month and anyone who joins or renews their membership during the month will have a chance to win a book lovers basket. Register for St. Mary’s Early Childhood Program

Pre-registration for St. Mary’s Early Childhood program for the 2015-2016 year is currently underway. The program is offered to preschool, junior kindergarten and kindergarten-age children. The St. Mary’s Board of Education has waived the tuition for the preschool program for the upcoming year. Contact the school at 927.3689 if you have any questions.

Lambert Five-Year Old Registration

Lambert Elementary in Manchester is asking parents to call the West Delaware business office at 927.3515 ext 404 if your child will be 5 years old by September 15th, 2015. They would like to verify your child’s information for their census data base. The information will be used for mailing materials regarding Kindergarten and Junior
