Monticello Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash

A Monticello man was taken to the hospital following a motorcycle crash in Delaware County Thursday night. The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says 53-year old Michael Bohlken was northbound on X-31 when he lost control and hit a field driveway. Bohlken was transported to Jones Regional Medical Center with what authorities believed were minor injuries.

Dubuque Beating Victim Grew Up in Farley

The woman who was fatally beaten in downtown Dubuque earlier this week was a Farley native. 66-year old Nancy Krapfl of Dubuque died Tuesday at a hospital after being attacked while on a walk early Tuesday morning in the area of 17th Street and Central Avenue. Dyersville Fire Department Raises $2,100 for MDA

The Dyersville Fire Department has raised over two-thousand dollars for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Firefighters spent last weekend collecting donations through their annual Fill-the-Boot campaign.
