Garber Man Sentenced for Fatal Crash

EDGEWOOD, Iowa (AP) – A Garber man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison after pleading guilty to vehicular homicide and operating while intoxicated. FarmTek Wins Dyersville Chamber’s “Battle of the Businesses”

Several businesses competed in the Dyersville Chamber’s “Battle of the Businesses” Thursday night. Eleven teams representing area businesses competed in such games as wheelbarrow relays, a bubble gum challenge and a human version of “Hungry Hippos”. St. Mary’s Students Walk for Colton

St. Mary’s School in Manchester walked in memory of one of their own Friday. Three-year old Colton Meyer would have been in Junior Kindergarten at St. Mary’s this year, but his life was cut short in a fatal farm accident last December.
