Project AWARE Pulls 30 Tons of Trash from Wapsi River

Organizers of an annual river cleanup event have released the results of this year’s effort. Lynette Seigley, with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, is coordinator of Project AWARE. Earlville Teen Wins KMCH Country Showdown

An Earlville teen won the KMCH Country Showdown at the Delaware County Fair on Saturday. Jordan Schuman was named the winner, beating out three other contestants for the title. Schuman says been singing for about two years now and enjoys country music the most. Her performances in Saturday’s contest included “Girl in a Country Song”

New Delaware County Fair royalty was crowned on stage prior to the Trace Adkins concert last night. Five young women were running for Delaware County Fair Queen, with Angie Wilson of Delhi winning the crown. Wilson says she loves the Delaware County Fair.
