Local Farmers Get Good Start on Harvest

Most local farmers have gotten a good start on the corn harvest over the past couple weeks. This week’s USDA Iowa Crop and Weather Report shows that 19-percent of corn and 43-percent of soybeans have been harvested – statewide, that’s about three days behind last year.
