HS Sports: Boys’ Golf Recap

The West Delaware boys’ golf team swept Mount Vernon on Friday.   The Hawks hosted the meet at Pin Oak, with the varsity winning 150-155. West Delaware’s Trent Shaw was the top medalist with a score of 34 (two under par). West Delaware’s Clayton Larson finished as runner-up, one under par with a 35.

HS Sports: Thursday 4-14 Results

The West Delaware boys track team hosted the Hawk Invitational last night in Manchester. Western Dubuque won the meet in convincing fashion with 154 team points which was 46.5 points better than second place Decorah. Rounding out the rest of the team scores: 3. Cascade-72 4. Local Gymnast Reaches Elite Status for 3rd Time

A local gymnast has reached Elite status for the third time. Katie Boeding has been participating in tumbling with Moser School of Dance for 19 years. Boeding has competed at the advanced level for nine years. To qualify, a tumbler must score 8-point-0 or higher from a 5-skill and 8-skill pass. She qualified in February
