Former Iowa Assistant Football Coach Norm Parker Dies

Former Iowa defensive coordinator Norm Parker has died. KCRG says former Iowa football player Tyler Sash was among the first to acknowledge Parker’s death, tweeting “R.I.P. Coach Norm Parker. Thank you for everything!” Monday morning. Parker retired at the end of the 2011 football season, after serving on Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz’ staff since 1999.
