HS Football: Western Dubuque Defeats Beckman in Rivalry Game

It was a long-standing rivalry game in Dyersville Friday night, with Beckman hosting Western Dubuque. And Western Dubuque came away with the win for the second year in a row under the direction of second-year head coach Justin Penner. The Bobcats beat the Blazers 22-12. Penner was impressed with the way his young team played.

The Peacock volleyball team registered a pair of wins on day two of the Wildcat Open hosted by Northern Michigan on Saturday in Marquette, Mich.
