West Delaware Bowled against Cascade Friday night at Lightning Lanes. Both the Boys and Girls Varsity were victorious over the Cougars. The WD boys posted a score of 3135 to Cascade’s 2578. By Jamie Vaske-Associate Director of Sports: West Delaware’s wrestling team moved to 2-1 in WaMaC dual action as they defeated Beckman 58-24 Thursday night inside the Seedorff Gymnasium in Manchester. Roussell Named Gazette Offensive Player Of The Year

The 2015 all-area prep football team, voted on by Gazette and KCRG sports reporters was released over the weekend.  West Delaware’s Coy Roussell was named Offensive Player of the Year.  Also on Offense Hawk senior Colin Brown was named to the list for his work on the Offensive line, and Independence QB Nicholas Holt also
