By Jon Swisher-Sports Director: The boys golf WaMaC Conference Super Meet was held at Pin Oak Golf Course near Manchester Monday afternoon. Despite a lightning delay, all the action was completed before 5pm. West Delaware continued their excellent play and proved to be the WaMaC’s best by placing first with a 302, 14 strokes better than Williamsburg.

Beckman Boys Win Monticello Golf Invite

Beckman was the top team at the 18th annual Monticello Boys Golf Invitational on Wednesday. The Blazers bested 2nd place Monticello by 4 strokes. Marion was 3rd; North Cedar 4th; Cascade 5th; Tipton 6th; and Camanche 7th. Marion’s Ian Kelly took medalist honors with an 80, Tyler Knepper of Beckman was 2nd with an 82.
