“Church of Cash” Helps Raise Funds for Manchester Legion

There was a big turnout for the Manchester American Legion’s fundraiser on Saturday night.

Church of Cash, a Johnny Cash tribute band, performed at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Manchester for over two hundred people. Lead singer, Jay Ernest of Minnesota, says Church of Cash started in 2009.

Legion member Larry Tibbott says the event was a fundraiser.

And the Legion has a weekly fundraiser too. Every Wednesday, the Legion holds Hump Day Coffee Club. The public is welcome to stop in to enjoy coffee and treats for a free will offering. Nearly thirty people attend Hump Day Coffee Club each week. And if you stop in, you can check out the Legion’s new remodeling. Hump Day Coffee Club runs from 7 to 9 am each Wednesday.
