Delaware County Relay for Life Planned for June 28th

The Delaware County Relay for Life is coming up this summer – and an informational meeting about it will be held this weekend.

The Relay for Life is held every other year in Delaware County.  It’s an American Cancer Society fundraiser – the money raised goes towards research, education and public awareness to help support cancer patients and their families.

Committee member Shirley Rempt says this year’s Relay for Life will be held Friday night, June 28th from 5 to 10:30 pm at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Manchester.

Anyone can participate in the Relay for Life, whether you’re a cancer survivor, a friend or family member or a community member wanting to show your support.

If you’d like to learn more about this year’s Delaware County Relay for Life, an informational meeting will be held Saturday from 9 to 10 am at the Veterans Education Center at Regional Medical Center.
