Hopkinton Lions Club Bingo

February 19

The Hopkinton Lions Club will host Bingo on Sunday, February 19th at 1 pm at the Hopkinton Community Center. Doors open at 12:30 pm. $3 for one card or $5 for two. Jackpot available. Free popcorn and lemonade.

Hopkinton-Delhi Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast

The Hopkinton-Delhi Knights of Columbus will host a pancake breakfast on Sunday, February 19th from 7:30 am to noon at the Hopkinton Community Center. Serving pancakes, French toast, sausage, scrambled eggs, cinnamon rolls, coffee, milk and juice. Adults $7, ages 5-12 $4 and under free. Proceeds will benefit local non-profits.

Beckman Catholic Spring Musical

February 22

Beckman Catholic High School presents their spring musical "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Shows are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 3 pm. Advance tickets available for $10 at the school by calling 875.7188. There will also be a free senior citizens' show on Wednesday, March 22nd at 2 pm, with free will donations accepted.

JKPL: Digital Learning Day

To celebrate Digital Learning Day, the James Kennedy Public Library in Dyersville will host a Question and Answer session on Thursday, February 23rd from 3 to 5 pm to help people learn about the constantly changing world of technology. Bring any technology-related question and they'll answer it to the best of their ability. Part of the session will be a demo on how to perform basic research on your home computer.

Dyersville Relay for Life Bowling Fundraiser RSVPs Due

Friday, February 24th is the deadline to sign up for a Dyersville Area Relay for Life bowling fundraiser, which will be held Sunday, March 5th from 1 to 3 pm at Hurricane Lanes in Dyersville. All proceeds go to the Banking for a Cure Relay for Life Team. Single $15, and kids 12 and under $10. Includes two games, shoe rental, snacks and door prizes. A fundraiser will be held Friday, February 24th for the Colesburg Commercial Club. Bill Stock will perform at JR Willies in Colesburg from 7 to 11 pm. A free will donation bucket will be at the door, with proceeds going towards the new playground equipment at the park.

The James Kennedy Public Library in Dyersville welcomes back the Die-Laughing Murder Mystery Troupe for another murder mystery dinner fundraiser on Saturday, February 25th! You'll help solve a mystery while laughing and enjoying a delicious meal catered by J&D Mart. Event begins at 6:30 pm at the Dyersville Golf and Country Club. The Blessed Trinity Cluster is sponsoring a Pre-Lenten Mission February 26th through March 1st. There will be four consecutive evenings of prayer, singing and reflections in response to the preaching of Fr. Vic Karls, a Redemptorist missionary from Missouri.
