Henderson Signs To Wrestle At Upper Iowa

North Linn senior Brock Henderson recently committed to wrestle at Upper Iowa University, a division 2 school in Fayette. Henderson who just won his second state title for the Lynx chose the Peacocks over UNI and Coe College, says after making a visit to Upper Iowa he knew it was the place for him to continue his wrestling and academic careers:

Henderson owned a career record of 175-9 at North Linn making him the all time winning wrestler in school history, passing four-time state champion Dan LeClere who had 167 career wins. Henderson knows that wrestling at the next level will be a challenge but says he his ready to be pushed in the room by tough competition:

Henderson won his second state title in February capping off a 48-2 senior season and an impressing career as he finished third as a sophomore and fourth as a freshman and he looks forward to getting to work with the Upper Iowa coaching staff and trying to excel at the college level:
