Tonight the re-match of the WD girls basketball teams takes place in Manchester as West Delaware hosts Western Dubuque. The Hawks are #12 in  class 4A with a 15-3 mark while the Bobcats are ranked 6th in 4A with a 17-1 record. It will be a battle for the top spot in the Northeast division of the WaMaC conference and will factor into who will win the overall conference crown. The Bobcats won the first meeting in Epworth convincingly, 46-24, holding West Delaware to the lowest amount of points they have scored all season long.  Hawks head coach Harold Shepherd thinks things will be different tonight with the girls knowing more of what to expect from the Bobcats:

SHEP1 2-7

It will also be a special night off of the court with a cancer awareness event taking place, Coach Shepherd gives credit to West Delaware AD Mike Morrison for spearheading the event hosted by West Delaware:
