The annual West Delaware Softball Invitational Tournament concluded Saturday evening. The host WD Hawks placed 4th after a 5-4 eight inning loss to Linn-Mar in the semifinals then a 6-1 setback to Class 1A top-ranked Lansing Kee in the third place game. Linn-Mar went on to win the championship in their first year in the tourney as they took down Cascade 15-0 in 4 innings. The Cougars had pulled off the biggest upset of the tournament when they beat undefeated Lansing Kee in their semifinal, 8-4.
A look at how all the teams placed and their record in the tourney and their overall records with 2 weeks remaining of the regular season:

Regional pairings will be released this week with postseason play beginning on July 3rd.
