The Delaware County Fair parade officially kicked off fair week Monday night. There was a huge turnout of floats and parade entries, and Kendrick Forest Products of Edgewood had probably one of the most eye-catching and labor intensive floats. They used pieces of wood to build a replica of a Budweiser Clydesdales hitch. Kirby Kendrick says it was something they wanted to do as soon as they found out the Budweiser Clydesdales were coming to Edgewood Rodeo Days.
Sherman’s Pumpkin Farm also had a creative float.
Jackie Sherman says it’s fun to be part of the parade.
