A special runoff election was held yesterday in Edgewood to fill a vacant seat on the City Council. Andrew Lange received 38 votes, while Nancy Burgett received 13 votes. Both were write-in candidates during last month’s City election, in which Lange received more votes than Burgett but didn’t get 25-percent of the vote as required in an Edgewood City Election. The election will be canvassed on Monday, with the official winner announced at that time.
