What people are saying about KMCH....

I am a Delaware county resident that would like to give your station and personal a lot of credit . I followed the state tournaments for wrestling and basketball through the past couple of weeks. I am very proud of the teams and individuals that have competed. But the outstanding coverage you have provided shows me how great of a radio station you have. I tip my hat to u all... Keep it up!
I grew up just north of Manchester. I moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1982 and I have been streaming your radio station on my iPhone for about 5 months now. I really enjoy your music variety, as well as hearing all the goings on back there in your fair little city. I was just home, at the beginning of August, for my 30 year high school reunion, and it almost felt like had been living there because I recognized all the businesses and events that you advertise on your programs.
A big “THANK YOU” to KMCH for the donuts from Kwik Star and the koozies you dropped off at our workplace today! It was much appreciated by everyone working here. We LOVE listening to your station….. keep up the good work!
Thanks for supporting Catholic School’s Week this week on the radio. I appreciate it greatly.
We listen to your station all the time. You are very informative and you broadcast high school games. We really enjoy your programming. Thank you!

Just wanted to THANK YOU for airing American Top 40 the 70's. Having recently discovered your station, I love it! - Listener in Cedar Rapids
: I just wanted to thank you guys for the awesome state wrestling coverage! It's hard to be stuck at college while the biggest event in Iowa high school sports takes place, but thanks to the live internet feed I could still hear the action on the guys from my area. I thank you greatly!

Great job on the coverage of the WWII Honor Flight. What a great tribute to these wonderful heroes! I got teary eyed throughout since my father-in-law was a veteran and would have loved going. He died at the young age of 58. My husband was very active in the Legion and we visited DC in 1993 - it was indeed the most moving trip I ever experienced.

Kudos!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for having the local headlines and stories on your website. My husband and I moved away from the Manchester area eight years ago after living in the area most of our lives. We always enjoyed being able to listen to the local news on KMCH and now am so pleased to be able to keep up on local happenings through your website.

Thank you for your coverage of Beckman Baseball! It is great that KMCH is there. We had family from further away listening through the internet- what an awesome feature.
RE: Front Porch Summer Concert Series: "My daughter and I had a great time last night at Tirrill Park. Both acts were amazingly good! We're looking forward to the next show. "

I just wanted to thank you for the tickets I won to the Zac Brown Band and Little Big Town concert in Davenport. Tom and I had a great time. We sat with all the other KMCH winners to enjoy the concert. It was awesome!!!! We made it a quick weekend get away, and had a great time!!!! Thanks again, your radio station is the best!!!!!! Thanks, Becky

"I could never remember the difference between a watch and a warning. I asked our son Kevin (a Manchester fireman) and he said to remember that watch has "ch" in it and that means "could happen" and a warning then is the real thing and will happen. Thought your listeners might like to know this. Thanks for all of your great coverage."

"At Parent Teacher Conferences last night, many parents talked about the interview. Thank you so very much for the coverage! I know they appreciate it as much as we do." Debbie DeVore (Maquoketa Valley Speech Coach)

"Just wanted to let you know how nice it is to hear the short clips from High School band/choir students from all three school districts. Good recognition for those students! Also, the ag interviews this week have been a nice touch! Good Job!" -A listener

"As I have told you many times, you operate a great radio station and it is a real asset to the community." - Jerry Burke

"I would like to thank your station for the coverage of the WAMAC conference tournament. I have heard positive feedback from the Western Dubuque Community on the coverage, and it is greatly appreciated that you not only cover the West Delaware Hawk wrestlers but other wrestlers from the area. It is great to have a radio station in our area support and cover this great sport."
"I know you are one of the few radio stations that broadcast wrestling. Thank you for doing that."
"Thanks to KMCH for the Friday sports wrap up scores. This is great- we can hear all the scores on the way home from our games."
"Just a note to say--we enjoy listening to KMCH and keep up the good work!!!" - A Colesburg Listener
"You play a great variety of music!"
"Thank you for the nice job you did publicizing our event. It was explained well and we appreciate your extra work in making it a news story too." - Golden Age Activity Center
"I am originally from Manchester and listen to you from the Vinton area. Your programming, music selections, and news are wonderful. It's great to keep in touch with my hometown!"
"I am listening on your live internet stream from sunny and warm Tampa, FL! I am originally from Dyersville and would like to hear some Johnny Cash... Stay warm!!!"

Hello KMCH! I was lucky enough to be at the Gary Allan concert last night. Sure I was lucky because we got tickets, lucky because it was an awesome concert and lucky because the weather was perfect. But mostly I was lucky to physically be there. I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis and my legs just were not going to carry me to concert and I was in a lot of pain. I had to take my scooter which was an adventure all on its own and can be annoying to everyone trying to get around you, so by the time the concert started I was feeling pretty cruddy. Gary happens to be my husband’s very favorite singer, so there was no way I could say I needed to go home. Just when I thought my night was going to be a complete disaster, one of your staff (I believe it was Mr. Edwards) leaned over my shoulder and handed me Gary Allan’s greatest hits CD, smiled, said enjoy and quickly walked away. I was back in the back rows and he would have had to gone out of his way to do this and I truly appreciate the gesture. He completely made my night!! I didn’t have this CD and I absolutely love it!! He walked away so quickly that I didn’t get to tell him thank you, so… THANK YOU! You made this old girl smile with your gesture and I really needed to smile again. Thank you again and I hope you each enjoy the rest of the fair!   Cedar Rapids, IA
