Construction will start soon on the Manchester Whitewater Park. Ryan Wicks has been leading the Good to Great committee that is heading the project and says there’s been a lot of behind the scenes work going on until this point.
On Monday night, the Manchester City Council awarded the contract to Taylor Construction. They were the lowest of two bidders, though their bid still came in nearly three-hundred thousand dollars over the engineer’s estimate.
You’ll notice work starting along the riverbanks within the next month.
Manchester’s Whitewater Park is expected to be fully open by May or June of next year.
