Moser School of Dance and Gymnastics student Katie Boeding was awarded the 2014 Kevin Ballenger Memorial Scholarship at the USTA Power Tumbling National Championships in Louisville Kentucky. Out of a field of 39 seniors and college students vying for the scholarship, Katie was selected by the voting coaches at Nationals to receive this honor.
Katie was also honored with a plaque as one of the 6 finalists for the Nissen Griswold Cup Award for her excellence in Tumbling. Nominations for this coveted award are made by the USTA coaches throughout the United States and are voted on by the USTA voting members of all the USTA athletes involved with the organization.
19 year old Katie Boeding, is the daughter of Pat and the late David Boeding of Hopkinton. She attends Iowa State University, and is a dedicated, loyal, and hard working Moser athlete of 17 years.
