Buchanan County Holding Early Childhood Fair Saturday

Buchanan County will hold its fifth annual Early Childhood Fair this Saturday in Independence. This free event runs from 9 to 1 at the Falcon Civic Center. The Buchanan County Early Childhood Fair will feature programs and services that are available to families with young children. Over thirty exhibitors will be on hand to share information about their programs, and they'll also have activities available for the kids. The Lion's Club will provide free vision screenings for children ages 6 months to four years old, and free car seat safety checks will be available at the Childhood Fair by appointment. The event will also have free entertainment, emergency response vehicles on hand to look at, and door prizes.
