Two Injured in Hwy 20 Accident in Dyersville

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Dyersville Monday morning. The accident happened around 11 am on the west end of town at the Highway 20 intersection in front of the Kwik Stop gas station. The Iowa State Patrol says Rita Wilgenbusch of New Vienna was in the right-turn lane of Highway 20 when she suddenly made a left-hand turn into the path of a truck. Both Wilgenbusch and the driver of the truck, 31-year old Tyler Flory of Wisconsin, were taken to Mercy Hospital in Dyersville. The accident is under investigation.
