Manchester Duo Busted with Drugs during Traffic Stop

Two Manchester residents were busted with drugs during a traffic stop in Clayton County on Monday. The Sheriff's Office says Larry Herman and Kim Gingerich were arrested after deputies searched their vehicle on Highway 13 south of Elkader. Using the Department's K-9 unit, deputies discovered methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Herman has been charged with possession of methamphetamine (third offense). Gingerich has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana (second offense), drug paraphernalia, and having an open container of alcohol as a passenger. Both Herman and Gingerich were taken to the Clayton County Jail.
