Dubuque County Fair Makes Plans

Plans are underway for this summer's Dubuque County Fair. This year's fair will run July 22nd through the 27th, and Fair Manager Jamie Blum says the Friday night concert should bring in lots of country music fans.

This year's entertainment for the Saturday night rock concert has not yet been announced, but details should come soon. This year's Dubuque County Fair will feature the old favorites like the stock car races, demo derby, tractor pulls and beer garden bands, but there will also be some new attractions.

And instead of a petting zoo, this year the fair plans to bring a Cat Show to the fairgrounds, with exotic animals like lions and tigers performing.
