Guttenberg Driver Causes Property Damage

A drunken driver caused some property damage in Guttenberg last week. The Iowa State Patrol says 37-year old Kelly Cedergren was northbound on Great River Road when she went off the roadway and struck a fire hydrant. Her SUV then went through a fence and struck a small shed, went up over Marina Road striking another fire hydrant and then drove into an old telegraph pole. Cedergren fled the scene of the accident, but authorities found her later at her home. She was charged with OWI and failure to maintain control.
