Independence Chamber Hires Assistant and Enhances Website

The Independence Area Chamber of Commerce is showing signs of growth. The Chamber has recently hired an Executive Assistant. Mo Kimmerle, a longtime Independence area resident, has already begun her new duties at the Chamber.

The Independence Chamber hired an additional staff member after a successful year. Membership is up, and benefits to the members have expanded through the Chamber's enhanced website.

The Chamber now allows all levels of membership to post job listings on its Job Opportunities page. Businesses can join the Chamber or request membership information online. The site has also been enhanced to better highlight the Independence Area and to provide a postive community image to those looking to visit, relocate or locate a business in the area.
