Construction Begins on Hwy 13 from Strawberry Point to Elkader

Construction work is scheduled to begin on Highway 13 near Strawberry Point and Elkader. Starting next Tuesday, crews will be working on Highway 13 from the north city limits of Strawberry Point north to Elkader. Work includes subdrain placement, patching, repair of transverse joints and repair of pavement surface with grinding. To control traffic, there will be temporary lane closures with flaggers and pilot cars. Drivers should expect some possible minor delays. The project is expected to be completed by early fall.
