Fayette Man Seriously Injured in Buchanan Co. Collision

One driver was sent to the hospital following an accident in Buchanan County last Friday morning. The Iowa State Patrol says 56-year old Dennis Stannard of Fayette was transported to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Stannard had to be extricated from his pickup after it collided with a semi trailer on Highway V-62. The semi driver, 27-year old Zachary Miller of West Union, was not injured in the accident.
