Fountain Springs Park Recently Vandalized
04/23/2008

Fountain Springs Park near Greeley was recently vandalized. Delaware County Engineer Mark Nahra says one of the park's two bridges it out, so equipment was set up to prevent people from driving through. But about a week and a half ago, someone pulled out the fence on the east end and cut the chain on the west end of the park. Officials were worried drivers would pass through the park unaware of the danger, which included a five-foot drop-off on the west side bridge. Crews have been working on fixing the problem. Right now, Fountain Springs Park is available to the public by walk-in access only.
