WD Sixth Grade gets involved with T-Shirt Fundraiser for McCool

The sixth-graders at West Delaware Middle School in Manchester are hoping to help out their fellow classmate. Sixth-grader Jake Voss says the students have become part of a community-wide fundraiser for 12-year old Maleah McCool.

The group is selling t-shirts for 10 dollars each. Students Ben Knutson and Mitchell Ryan explain.

Sixth-grader Wyatt Ronnebaum says his grade has been working hard to help sell these t-shirts.

The shirts are available through Glanz Landing, First State Bank and from any West Delaware school. Some of the sixth-graders and their parents will be operating a Country Store at Springtime at Sherman's in Manchester next week Saturday as well. Proceeds from both fundraisers will go to the Maleah McCool account at First State Bank to help McCool's family with her medical bills.
