Delaware Co. Cattlemen Bringing Back Queen Contest

The Delaware County Cattlemen's Annual Beef Banquet is Saturday night... Sarah Maurer says they've got a great night planned, which includes the return of the Delaware County Beef Queen contest.

Beef Queen candidates are Allison Eibey, Lauren Monaghan, Megan Monaghan and Molly Mormann. They'll serve a 12-ounce steak dinner and hold an auction.

They'll be raffling off beef bundles, as well as donations from area businesses. And everyone gets to leave with a pound of hamburger. Maurer says they welcome everyone to the banquet - you don't have to be involved with the beef industry.

The Beef Banquet runs from 6 to 8 pm Saturday at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Pavilion. Tickets are 15 dollars for adults, and five dollars for kids under 10. You can get your tickets from Carl's Feed Store, Community Savings Bank, F&M Bank and GNB Bank, or from anyone involved with the Delaware County Cattlemen.
