Portion of Delaware County Courtroom Ceiling Crashes Down

The Delaware County Courtroom is in need of some major repairs. A portion of the courtroom's ceiling came crashing down earlier this month. On January 16th, county employees heard a loud noise and discovered a large section of the ceiling had caved in, with large chunks of debris landing on the desks and tables. Officials say they probably won't be able to use the courtroom for the next two months. Larger trials will be moved to the Delaware County Fairgrounds pavilion. Smaller trials and hearings will be held in the magistrate's courtroom in the courthouse.
