Governor Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Department of Public Health held a press conference earlier today and confirmed six new cases of COVID-19 in the state. Dubuque County Public Health Director Patrice Lambert confirmed that one of those cases is in Dubuque county. This is Dubuque county’s first case. IDPH says the individual is currently self-isolating at their home.
This brings the total number of positive cases in Iowa to 44, up from 38 on Wednesday.
The other cases have been confirmed in Dallas, Polk, Johnson, Blackhawk, Adair, Allamakee, Carroll, Harrison, Pottawattamie, Washington, Winneshiek
