Dyersville Business Organizes Effort to Make Masks for Healthcare Workers

A Dyersville business is doing what they can to help healthcare workers during the Coronavirus pandemic.

K&K Logo Designs has halted much of their usual business operations to make masks for hospitals and nursing homes across the area as they face a possible shortage of personal protective equipment. Co-owner Karen White:

White says they’ve been using clearance fabric they had on hand at the shop, with others offering to help in the effort too.

Hundreds of masks have been made since last week. White says they lost count on the exact number, but she knows they’ve been able to help a lot of places already.

A couple other quilt shops in the area are helping to make masks and sharing the mask pattern for others too. White says it’s just a good feeling to know you’re helping out during a time of need.

If you’d like to help with the volunteer effort and make masks for our local healthcare providers, contact or message K&K Logo.
