Dyersville Extends Public Health Emergency Through May 15th

The City of Dyersville is extending their public health emergency proclamation through the middle of the May.

All city owned buildings will remain closed to public access through at least May 15th.

Mayor Jim Heavens also says all gatherings of ten or more people on public property or public right-of-way are prohibited through May 15th. He also strongly suggests that private gatherings of ten or more people on private property should be avoided.

And the City of Dyersville’s recreational programs are also cancelled through at least May 15th, with basketball courts, playground equipment and the city’s dog park and toddler park closed until then as well.
