Manchester’s Four Main Corners Open Again

Manchester’s main four corners is open again. The intersection opened on Saturday morning. It had been closed for about two and a half weeks as part of the Highway 13 Street Improvement Project.

The project will continue making an impact throughout town over the next few months…

Water service line work is being done on West Main, with pavement patching from Franklin to River Street scheduled for this week.

Paving and pavement marking from north of Acers to Honey Creek Bridge is complete.

Hot mix asphalt paving west of the bridge has finished up and pavement markings are scheduled to be placed on today.

There are two water service lines to be installed along River Street this week and then pavement and trail replacement will follow.

And traffic will be open on West Main from Franklin to River, but traffic control will remain in place as the option to mill and pave this section at the same time as Seeley Street is being considered.

Work at Seeley Street is expected to begin just after Memorial Day, with paving of Seeley and the remainder of West Main scheduled to begin the second week of June.
