A Red Cross blood drive is being held in Manchester tomorrow.
Drive Coordinator Marcia Burkle says the Red Cross has an urgent need for blood donors of all blood types to give right now. With not knowing when the coronavirus pandemic will end, she says it’s important that blood is available for weeks to come.
And with COVID-19 currently a concern, the Red Cross is taking precautions during their blood drives, including tomorrow’s event in Manchester.
Wednesday’s blood drive will run from 11 to 5:30 pm at St. Mary Parish Center. You can make an appointment to donate blood by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or by visiting redcrossblood.org. In appreciation, donors at this drive will receive a Red Cross t-shirt and a $5 Amazon gift card, with ice cream also offered in celebration of June Dairy Month.
