A Maquoketa Valley school bus was involved in a minor accident last Friday.
The Iowa State Patrol says a pickup truck pulling a livestock trailer failed to yield to the school bus at the intersection of D-42 and X-31 south of Delhi around 4 pm.
Sixteen students were on the school bus at the time. Neither they nor their driver, 47-year old Mark Smith of Hopkinton, were injured.
The driver of the pickup, 18-year old Carter Kruse of Petersburg, also was not hurt.
