Two people were injured in a collision west of Manchester on Friday morning.
It happened at 1297 Candle Road around 11:30 am. The Iowa State Patrol says a 14-year old from Manchester was driving a motorcycle westbound on Candle Road when he collided with an eastbound Jeep.
The teen driver was ejected from the motorcycle. Authorities say he suffered incapacitating injuries and was transported to Regional Medical Center.
The driver of the Jeep, 43-year old Duane Kelchen of Manchester, was transported by a private vehicle to RMC for minor injuries.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
