West Delaware is asking the community to take a survey about their facility plans and needs.
The school district started the process of studying their facilities several years ago when a company called SiteLogic inspected all of their building’s systems and made notes of what kinds of updates were needed. A task force made up of community members then reviewed the study and made recommendations to the school board in September.
Superintendent Dr. Kristen Rickey:
The West Delaware School Board took all of those recommendations from the Task Force into consideration and added some of their own ideas. They’ve put all of that information into a survey and now they want to know the community’s opinions.
The community survey will be available on West Delaware’s website through November 18th. Postcards have also been sent to every address in the West Delaware School District.
And if you’d like to learn more, you can listen in on tonight’s discussion on the facilities planning process – the meeting begins at 5 pm at the Lambert Elementary Commons. It will also be livestreamed on West Delaware’s Facebook page.
